The V301 electronics used for the beam position measurements originally possessed an analog front end which was not optimized for performing single bunch measurements for CBETA. The analog front end of the electronics used filters with an uneven group delay, such that the output of the filter would ripple for several nanoseconds. After performing several tests using timing scans, it was determined that the ripple had a secondary cause as well, this cause was the 470 uH inductor that is used with the ADL5536ARKZ RF amplifier. Reducing the ripple of the board required developing a replacement for the low pass filter and the inductors.
