FAQ: How can I completely remove all Macros from a Windows Office document (Excel, Word, Project, etc) ?

ANSWER: Delete the VisualBasic Module from the document.

  • Select the menu Tools > Macro > Visual Basic Editor or type the key combination Alt + F11
  • Select the menu View > Project Explorer
  • Locate and Expand the Project in the"Project Explorer" window
  • Select the Modules node with the Right-Mouse-Button
  • Select "Remove Module" in the RMB popup menu
  • Select "No" when asked if you want to Export the Module.
