CLASSE Wiki server upgraded, May 27 (This changes the URLs)
The CLASSE Wiki server was upgraded to new hardware and software on Monday, May 27. In addition, the wiki server was reconfigured to use CLASSE credentials for authentication and authorization. This means that you now login using your CLASSE username and password, and that access control lists (ACL's) use central CLASSE groups instead of wiki groups.
User Visible Changes
Note that the URLs have changed from wiki.
lepp.cornell.edu to wiki.
classe.cornell.edu. If you have bookmarks using the old wiki.
lepp.cornell.edu you will get an Untrusted Certificate warning from Firefox. This is because certificates are issued for a specific URL / server name. You will need to edit your bookmarks to point to wiki.
classe.cornell.edu.
While
some URLs have changed, in most cases redirects were created to redirect visitors from old URL's to new. Please go to wiki.
classe.cornell.edu and navigate to the wiki location you want to go to - this will use all "new" consistent URLs. If you are unable to find a page or receive an "access denied" error, please email
service-classe@cornell.edu with the URL of the page you are unable to view.

General network and server maintenance will occur every Tuesday from 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM. The CLASSE-IT group will always announce any expected disruptions in our
NewsLetter and via
CLASSE-IT-NEWS-L, but with the size and complexity of our network there is always the potential for something to go wrong. We will do our best to contain all network maintenance and planned outages to Tuesdays from 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM.
Unless other arrangements have been made,
CLASSE-managed Windows systems may be updated and rebooted on Tuesday morning at 2:00 AM, so please avoid critical or lengthy operations at that time. For more details, please see
SystemExpectations.
