TotalView

TotalView can be run from any CLASSE linux computer using the command:

/nfs/opt/totalview/bin/totalview

On a CESR linux system, please type:

/nfs/cesr/opt/totalview/bin/totalview

If you have already enabled the ACC Build Environment in your ~/.bashrc, simply type:

totalview

32-bit debugging on a 64-bit system

The only TotalView version that runs in a 32-bit (i386) environment is 8.9.2-2, so if you're debugging a 32-bit (i386) executable on a 64-bit machine, you can use the below command to run TotalView in a 32-bit environment:

linux32 /nfs/opt/toolworks/totalview.8.9.2-2/linux-x86/bin/tv8
