Displaying the "Get Info" window for an object.

To display the "Get Info" Dialog Box for an object (usually a file or folder), choose one of the following four options:
  1. Click on the object, then select "Get Info" from the "File" menu
  2. Click on the object, then hold down the "Apple" key and "I" simultaneously (note: the "Apple" key is immediately to the left of the Space Bar)
  3. Hold down "control" or "ctrl" while you click on the object, then select "Get Info" in the resulting popup menu (note: the "ctrl" key is the third key to the left of the Space Bar)
  4. If you have a properly configured mouse with 2 or more mouse buttons, right-click on the object, then select "Get Info" in the resulting popup menu
